Both Hindus and Muslims would necessarily attend each other’s, parties, death, marriages and others traditional activities. Culture of both Hindu, Muslim was might for example:-

 OLD TOBA (POND) CHAH MIANA

This Toba was excavated by Hazrat Mian Murad Vind in the 1850s. This was the time when there was no source of water in Chah Miana. It was filled with rain water which was used for drinking by the villagers. The length and width of this toba was about 15×7 meters. And its depth was close to 4.5 feet.
Some time later, Hazrat Mian Murad Vand dug a well for the burial of Sher Shah Suri and the clean water of the well was used. After that, for a long time, this well was used only for watering the animals and at that time in the village The boys used to come to Toba to learn how to swim and take a bath. There was a time when there was a rush here and now this Toba is full of mud. The vicissitudes of time have distorted its form, but it still retains the forgotten memories of the past. I pass by feeling.(For further verification, see “Level of Sultani”.) (This repentance is in front of Dr. Ismatullah’s clinic).

GLIMPSES OF CHAH MIANA

ZAKA MALIK WORDS

ABOUT BLOG FOR CHAH MIANA

Assalam o alaikum!
Two things inspired me to create this blog, one – my interest in history since child hood and the other – a wish to preserve history of my village. I am indebted to this soil and wanted to repay by doing something for it. Whatever I have done so far is still a thirsty work and I don’t feel that I have even paid a very small portion of the debt I owed to my soil. At least I have put my share and started a tradition.
This blog is undoubtedly the first blog site to preserve culture and history of this village. This is ever first work on Chah Miana, there has been written neither any book nor uploaded even a single page information on internet about Chah Miana.
I have tried to save its journey from Dhanoo Ran to Chah Miana. I believe that it’s our duty to preserve history and to pass it onto the coming generations in its original form,I have tried my level best to provide references of the incidents from the books. I have also narrated some incidents which are transferred from generations to generations and don’t have any bookish reference.

I am very much thankful to Abdul Qayyum Sahib, The Principal Govt Elementary School, Chah Miana, who cooperated beyond limits, proving his utmost love for Chah Miana. Without his cooperation, this work would take much more time than what we expected. In the scorching heat of June, to go to grave yard, to read the grave stones, to take snaps, to wander around hot dunes, to collect the relics of old civilization, to open dusty school record of British Times and to send them for binding and scanning, to have meetings with old people and to note down their memories, in all that valued cooperation of Abdul Qayyum remained with us.  Best Regards . Muhammad Zaka Malik
