Major (R) Muhammad Iqbal Khan

Major (R) Muhammad Iqbal Khan, son of Habbit Khan Bumbra, was born on 11 October 1973 in Isa Khel, District Mianwali. He received his early education in Abbottabad . Choosing the path of service and honour, he joined the Pakistan Army and was commissioned into the Punjab Regiment, later also serving in the Military Police (MP) where he performed key operational and administrative duties with dedication.

Major Iqbal Khan also represented Pakistan abroad as part of the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces (UNO), where he upheld the country’s name with professionalism and dignity. Throughout his career, he was admired for his integrity, sense of justice, and strong leadership qualities.

After retiring from the Army, he continued to work with the same commitment in civilian life. However, while serving in Rahim Yar Khan, he tragically met with a road accident and passed away on 4 May 2024. His sudden demise was a great loss not only to his family but also to the community that remembered him as a brave soldier, a courteous gentleman, and a proud son of the Bumbra clan.

Guided by his vision to serve people and promote healthcare in his town, Wazir Ahmed Khan obtained the necessary pharmacist education and certification and established Al-Hamza Medicos in Isa Khel.
