Abdul Kareem Khan, along with his family, migrated from Isa Khel to Jaranwala for business and agricultural purposes. His son, Muhammad Khan, worked tirelessly to ensure that his four sons received the necessary education for a better standard of living and a respected place in society.

Through hard work and dedication, the sons of Muhammad Khan Bumbra achieved high standing in the community. Three brothers—Usman Khan, Akbar Khan, and Muhammad Yousaf Khan—moved abroad in 1971 to improve their earning opportunities and lifestyle. They settled in Holland and Great Britain, where they remained until 1983.

Haq Nawaz Khan Niazi, another prominent member of the family, was highly popular in social circles and renowned for his bravery. He earned widespread respect as a political leader in Jaranwala, serving twice as Chairman of the Jaranwala Municipal Committee and later as its Administrator.He mainly started Kiln work in Jaranwala.

Usman Khan Niazi served as a lecturer with Kuwait Airways and was once invited to Egypt by President Anwar Sadat—an offer he politely declined.

Akbar Khan Niazi held the position of General Manager at a tire factory in Holland. Recognizing his expertise, the Dutch government offered assistance to establish a tire factory in Pakistan. Choosing to return home, he and the family set up two tire remolding factories in Faisalabad, which proved to be very successful.Eventually, the factories were closed, and the family shifted their focus from business to agriculture, where they continued to prosper.

Asif Khan Niazi — Advocate High Court and Member of the District Bar Association, Faisalabad — is a prominent political and social figure hailing from Jaranwala. Born on November 30, 1977, he belongs to a distinguished political family known for decades of public service and community influence.

Early Life and Education

The son of Yusuf Khan Niazi, Asif grew up in a household deeply rooted in politics, public service, and strong community values. He began his early education at MC Middle School, Jaranwala, completed his matriculation at Government High School, Jaranwala, and went on to earn his F.A. and B.A. from Government College, Jaranwala. He later obtained an LL.B. degree, marking the foundation of his legal career.Between 1977 and 1983, Asif lived in England while his father resided in Holland and England. His father WAS HAVING British nationality, and his younger brother, Muhammad Nawaz Khan Niazi, was born in Holland.

Family Legacy

Asif’s extended family is well known for its achievements and service. His uncle, Haq Nawaz Khan Niazi, was a respected political leader, serving twice as Chairman of the Jaranwala Municipal Committee and also as its Administrator. Coming from such a legacy, Asif inherited a deep sense of responsibility toward his community.

While still a student, Asif entered politics through the Muslim Students Federation (MSF), serving as President at Government College Jaranwala. He currently serves as General Secretary of the Pakistan Muslim League (Jaranwala Chapter). Growing up in a politically active environment sharpened his leadership abilities at an early age.

Asif is committed to promoting unity across different communities in Tehsil Jaranwala and providing strong, principled leadership. Inspired by his uncle’s political and social work, he actively speaks out against poor governance and aims to empower people through honest and transparent leadership.

Asif Khan Niazi is also the founder and President of the Jaranwala Welfare Society (Registered) — an organization dedicated to public welfare, area development, and improving the quality of life for local residents.

Currently, Asif Khan Niazi resides in Great Britain along with his brother, cousin, and their families, while continuing his involvement in community service and political activities.
