MASJIDS IN MIANWALI

IN THIS PAGE PHOTO OF MASJIDS IN DIFFIRENT PART OF THE MIANWALI HAVE BEEN INCLUDED TO SHOW HOW RELIGIOUS MIANWALIANS ARE . HOW THEY LOVE AND LOOK AFTER THE MASJIDS

GRAND ENTRYWAYS AND TALL TOWERS, OR MINARETS, HAVE LONG BEEN AND CONTINUE TO BE CLOSELY ASSOCIATED WITH MASJIDS. HOWEVER, THE FIRST THREE MASJIDS WERE VERY SIMPLE OPEN SPACES ON THE ARABIAN PENINSULA.MASJIDS EVOLVED SIGNIFICANTLY OVER THE NEXT 1,000 YEARS, ACQUIRING THEIR NOW-DISTINCTIVE FEATURES AND ADAPTING TO CULTURES AROUND THE WORLD.THE WORD “MOSQUE” IN ENGLISH REFERS TO ALL TYPES OF BUILDINGS DEDICATED FOR ISLAMIC WORSHIP, ALTHOUGH THERE IS A DISTINCTION IN ARABIC BETWEEN THE SMALLER MASJID DEDICATED FOR THE DAILY FIVE PRAYERS AND THE LARGER MASJID  WHERE THE DAILY FIVE PRAYERS AND THE FRIDAY CONGREGATION SERMONS ARE HELD WITH A HIGH VOLUME OF ATTENDANCE.

THE MASJID SERVES AS A PLACE WHERE MUSLIMS CAN COME TOGETHER FOR SALAT (PRAYER) AS WELL AS A CENTER FOR INFORMATION, EDUCATION, AND DISPUTE SETTLEMENT. THE IMAM LEADS THE PRAYER.THEY HAVE DEVELOPED SIGNIFICANTLY FROM THE OPEN-AIR SPACES THAT WERE THE QUBA MASJIDS AND AL-MASJID AL-NABAWI IN THE 7TH CENTURY. MANY MASJIDS HAVE ELABORATE DOMES, MINARETS, AND PRAYER HALLS. MASJIDS ORIGINATED ON THE ARABIAN PENINSULA, BUT ARE NOW FOUND IN ALL INHABITED CONTINENTS.

  1. Dear Sir, Baad is salam arz hay ke: The presentation is excellent! however, it does not identify
” WHO WAS HAZRAT SYED ALI?”
He surely was not from BAGHDAD!
I WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF ANY OF OUR ” NIAZI” READERS CAN HELP ME ON THIS QUARY!
With very best regards and wishes to the readers and web site designer/designers.
