Masjid Jjamia Akbaria is located at Bello khel road Mianwali .Initialy the Masjid was very small and Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Akbar Ali Chishti Mirvi (may Allah be pleased with him) was the imam of Masjid. He lead the prayer and sermon, but his heart was broken after seeing the coldness of the people. In these circumstances, a righteous servant of Allah, Hazrat Khwaja Ahmed Mirvi (may Allah be pleased with him), came to offer prayers in this mosque and told him that if he stayed in this mosque, he would get everything and he had to bring blessings to the creatures of Allah. These words of the Caliph of Hazrat Shah Sulaiman Tunsi had a great impact on him. He decided to overcome the difficulties and made a firm decision to stay in this place.

Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Akbar Ali Chishti Mirvi (may Allah be pleased with him) founded an Islamic Madrasa here and taught the students religion by feeding them from home. Gradually, this Madrasa progressed and today this Madrasa is a famous and renowned religious school known as Jamia Akbaria.

In this masjid Tahajjud was specially arranged in the time Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Akbar Ali Chishti Mirvi (may Allah be pleased with him) and people from far and wide used to come to pray Tahajjud. After that, there was a gathering for remembrance and after finishing Ishraq etc., tea was served to all the attendees.

Mazar of Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Akbar Ali Chishti Mirvi (may Allah be pleased with him) and his sons are also located with Masjid. Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Akbar Ali Chishti Mirvi (may Allah be pleased with him) bought some of the land adjoining the mosque. He built a four-walled enclosure in it and poured clean, pure soil from the canal.
