Dr. Muhammad Mahabat Khan was born on 30 November 1985 in Mohalla Alam Khel, Mianwali city . His father’s name is Khalid Parvaiz Khan, Bahram Khel.On completion of initial education, Dr. Muhammad Mahabat Khan began his Engineering academic journey by completing his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, and then he did MSc in Advanced Mechanical Engineering from University of Leeds, UK in 2009, by exploring specific subfields within mechanical engineering more deeply.
In order to refine his research skills, and to become a subject-matter expert, Dr. Muhammad Mahabat Khan did Ph.D. in Computational Fluid Dynamics, a qualified professor from Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France, in 2014. He is a distinguished academic and professional figure, typically characterized by extensive knowledge, research skills, and a passion for teaching. His role blends cutting-edge research with the dissemination of knowledge, making him pivotal in shaping the next generation of engineers and advancing technological innovations. Earning a Ph.D. in Computational Fluid Dynamics was an intense and rewarding journey that provides deep expertise in specialization. This academic journey is not just about acquiring technical knowledge, but also developing critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a mindset geared towards innovation.
In 2015, he joined Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad as Assistant Professor till 2019 and became Associate Professor in 2019 till today 17 September 2024.
He is also leading the thermo-fluids research group, FlowTherm. With over five years of experience as an Advanced Development Engineer at Continental Automotive, France, he has contributed significantly to the development of the Euro-VI gasoline direct injection system. His expertise extends across various research areas, including Thermal Energy Storage, Energy Efficient Buildings, Heat Transfer Enhancement, Multiphase and Turbulent Flows. His involvement in advanced engineering projects underscores his impactful contributions to innovative technologies and systems.
